Sir Donald McCullin, CBE, Hon FRPS (born 9 October 1935), is a British photojournalist, particularly recognized for his war photography and images of urban strife. His career, which began in 1959, has specialised in examining the underside of society, and his photographs have depicted the unemployed, downtrodden and the impoverished.

NEW YORK— Sir Don McCullin is widely recognized as one of the world’s greatest photojournalists. Following his recent retrospective at Tate Britain, which received more than 170,000 visitors, forty photographs from McCullin’s six decade career will be on view at Howard Greenberg Gallery from September 11 through November 16, 2019.
